The Green Party of Connecticut will hold is 3rd annual State Convention
this Saturday, October, 9 from 10AM-4PM at the East Hartford Community
Cultural Center located at 50 Chapman Place.
A press conference will be held at 12 Noon. This press conference will
feature the Green Party candidates who are seeking local offices this
November including Elizabeth Horton-Sheff (Hartford City Council) and
Tom Ethier (Torrington City Council). Th Green Party will be running 9
people for local office this year and has already lined up numerous
people to run for State Representative races next year. The convention
will also feature speakers throughout the morning on such issues as
Utility Deregulation and Single-Payer Health Care.
